One time somebody stuck a garage sale sign with a big arrow pointing toward the sale in the corner of my yard without asking permission. I turned the sign around so the arrow pointed in the wrong direction.

Neighbor put campaign signs for every conservative running in my state senate and legislative races, and statewide races. He also won an essay contest from Penthouse. Go figure.

Is a yard guy actually doing work there, or did some yard guy who isn't doing work plant the sign fraudulently?

My guy uses one of those utility marking flags. it's a blank one and he sharpies on it when he was there and how long to keep pets off it(treatment info, not mowing). He puts it right next to the walk.

Someone on my street has a blow up Penguin that says "It's a Boy!" in their front yard. And left it up for weeks until the penguin slowly lost air. HOA would have been nice in that situation

I think most people who leave the large signs about having a baby in their yard only do so because they live too close to their parents to take the sign down without pissing them off.

My next door neighbor had a huge sign printed for his daughter this past spring when she was getting ready to graduate high school. It has her picture on it and it says something like "Look out UCLA!"
It is probably 4x8 feet.
I like them, so I haven't said anything about taking it down. Another friend of mine works with this neighbor. The friend rides by our house on his bike a couple of times a week. Last weekend he told me that he told my neighbor it is time to take the sign down. Neighbor said "NOPE! Not until she leaves for college!"
