Knowing what I know about the costs to keep the place running, and the lack of traffic and income, the time is likely coming very soon.  There are posts on the front pages over 3 months old.  Hell, even superfan Dobbie hasn't posted over there in damn near a month.

RIP place we spent the last 4-5 years of our bbsing lives, RIP.  If you want to salvage anything (old posts for posterity, cyclist, etc) now is probably the time.

I feel sorry for Terry, because I suspect that his pride will get in the way of him making a good business decision and selling that place.  He's already missed out on one reasonable buyer, I wonder how many more will be passed over on the way to complete insolvency?

As a Mod over there, I can safely say that there are good things just around the corner.  In a couple weeks when we get on the new server, there will be info that will get you all coming back.  Just you wait.  Dobbs will back me up on this.

So he bought it from MJ for somewhere around 2-3K, ran it completely into the ground in a little over a year and wanted nearly 10x the purchase price to sell it?  Holy crap.

Mistakes were made.  Luckily, I had recently sacrificed a drifter, so it all worked out for the best.
