Give me SMU +36 against Baylor. That line opened at 20. Without even trying to handicap the game, you don't see Vegas miss by more than 2 touchdowns very often when it comes to their opening lines.

What makes you like Baylor here?

Their non home games last year...

63-21 at Buffalo
49-28 at Iowa State
28-7 at Texas
Lost 27-41 at West Virginia
48-14 at Oklahoma
48-46 neutral against Texas Tech
Lost 42-41 neutral against Michigan State

I'm seeing Baylor -36. They could roll 42-6 and still not cover. I don't know much about the matchup, but this smells a lot like knee-jerk reactions pushing a line from 21 all the way to 36. I like going against the trends, because Vegas didn't get rich by missing lines by 15 points, but if something tangible happened to move the line that much, I'd rethink things.

If June was still there the SMU game would have a very pro Baylordorks crowd. The new regime seems to have instilled some energy so SMU fans should have a nice majority.They also should be better just because the players will give an effort.

However, I think Baylor wants to make a statement hoping it deflects media attention away from the rapey slime.

Not sure I can touch it.
