This is one of the ones we took from my house yesterday. I guess one home got destroyed, but it was about 5 miles north west of Hutchinson. Mostly fields out there.

Sadly, it's just not true. Two years and my grass still hasn't really grown in.  I think I'm going to switch seed types this fall when I overseed.  It grows so slowly that I only have to mow once a month (which wouldn't be bad if it filled in nicely).  Neighbors have to mow weekly (of course they've been her a few years longer than me)

Friend of mine posted a video on FB that panned her neighborhood and she said "Yep, this is what you do in KS when there is a tornado. You go outside and look at it."

an EF3 without the sirens working is actually kind of scary. good thing you can see for miles in kansas (esp hutch)

its fizzled still some rotation but ten minutes changed everything still good hail and wind in it tho
