CBS reported on it's morning news that there is a push to pass a federal law saying no city or county could get a large percent of their budget from speeding fines. Then they showed a town in OKLAHOMA that does this. A new state law stopped this, but any fine income over 30% goes to the state. I think these speed traps a great, an American icon. For sure keep the feds out of this.
