CNS, have you seen the original? Are you into absurdist humor? Because if not, I can see why you would think the first episode was terrible.

Have watched all eight episodes, loved every second of it. The knife fight might be the best scene in television (?) history.

I love abstract humor, but WHAS is just so up and down. It's either brilliant, or it's awful. There's no in between.

I've watched the first two epis and i love it. I smile the entire time i watch it. David Wain does great, great work.

I'd been watching a ton of The State skits over the last week to get ready for it.

Guys sorry for fanningbragging but they had a premiere in Brooklyn and I went and it was incredible. David Wain handed me a Rice Krispie treat. I didn't even know what to say so I was just like thank you David Wain.

I meant the individual scenes. The sum total was okay. Some of it was amazing, some of it was boring. Evened out.

Honestly stunned this question keeps getting asked. Yes, people, watch the movie first. At least 50% of the jokes in the TV show are self-referential nods (or winks) to jokes from the movie.

lol @ asking if you should see the original first that serves as the basis for the entire thing. Also lol at diving into the tv show without having seen the movie and then being all, "durr, i don't get it"
