No. I don't get that.

Blind Tiger "Smokey the Beer"

:)

I haven't gotten to experience Blind Tiger as a 21 year old. Worth the drive?
I live in Topeka and it's barely worth the drive.  They have some decent brews but overall nothing great imo.

My suggestion, go to Northstar steakhouse. They are owned by blind tiger so they have a bunch of their brews on tap, and much better food.

Anyone here been into the Tallgrass Brewing? They just stopped brewing the wheat altogether, which is awesome, because that was by far the worst one. I guess they're starting a new one in the next couple of weeks. Tons of hops. Count me in.
lol, they are garbage.  Sorry manhattanites.
I agree with you for the most part, hopefully they get better though. I do like their stout, I think it's called "Buffalo Sweat". Anyway, it's not too bad. I don't really like the rest of their stuff although have not had their IPA.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

It's hoppier than MA, but not too hoppy.  Not as hoppy as the ska brewing ipa. :)

yeah, hops alone aren't good enough for me and those smokey beers almost make me gag. that's the only kind of beer that i just can't drink. fav beers are the citrus kind of ipa's. the odells ipa is amazing. just incredible.

I like the Buffalo Sweat, but I can only have about two before I'm full for the night. The IPA is my favorite from Tallgrass. Pretty inconsistent, but everyone who I've talked to that likes pales has enjoyed it. At least, until this board.....

Never had Odells, will look for it when I get a job and can throw dollar bills at beer like they wuz strippers. Favorite IPA to date is still Sierra Nevada IPA. It's tough to beat that.

Del Tremz is tremendous.  Outstanding brew. Love the bottle.

Love slamming beers. Natty Light

some day you'll grow up.

Hey now, Natty Lite has a purpose in life.  It's the beer that gets you through high school and/or college.  Then when you grow up it's the beer that's nice to down a couple of them real quick to cool off after you've mowed your yard or something.

The other quality beers mentioned on here definitely aren't for slamming.

not too tough in the world of IPA. Sierra Nevada has a pretty decent one, but its not some invention of genius. Odell's definitely qualifies. Odell's in general is delicious.
