Tallgrass must be doing pretty well. Saw their sampler packs in Wisconsin. 'Grats Manhattan!

Also I am really into their halcyon wheat right now as a refreshing summertime brew.

I saw a Tallgrass wheat at an awful townie fast food burger place in rural virginia alongside 312. I was kind of freaked out for several reasons.

Halcyon is ok, their first few efforts, ale and kold were terrible.

Had a Blanch de Bruxelles and a Southern Tier Creme Brulee at Flying Saucer tonight.  Very much enjoyed them.  Creme Brulee was the best tasting beer I've ever had, but it absolutely wrecked my stomach.  Very heavy.

Anyone had Sierra Nevada's Summerfest? Wanted to try it, but Costco sold in 24 packs and did not want 24 if it turned out to be crap.

Do you like budweiser? If you like budweiser, you'll LOVE Sierra Nevada's Summerfest!

But seriously, I was very disappointed in this year's summer seasonals.  Summerfest blows, Blue Moon Honey Wheat blows, Somersault is meh.

I really did enjoy Freestate's Stormchaser IPA though.  Fantastic beer, even better artwork.

I didn't like many of the summers this year either.  Sam is always the best.  I had the exact same thoughts on Stormchaser.  Surprisingly good and a bad ass label.

Last Friday night someone was like, "Hey k_m, you should try Velvet Rooster!  It's really good.  I love it."  And I was like, "Uhh, okay."  Then Saturday night when we were out another person was like, "I'm going to order you a Velvet Rooster, it's like my favorite beer right now."  And I was all, "Totally, dude.  Do that."  And then the bar we were at was out of them.  So what do you guys think.  Should I make it a point to try some this weekend?

I drank some Velvet Rooster while cat fishing about two months ago. It was a nice change. I think I liked the 8-bit better.

why the hell does dupont use green bottles?  their stuff goes from great to terrible in a matter of weeks.  a dupont saison from a tap is infinitely better then a bottle.

8 oz. "Simply Lemonade"
12 oz. Coors Light
1 oz. Cheap Vodka

Flown through 3 24 oz. glasses already.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
