Drank 750ml of DT during the Cotton Bowl. Glad to see I still liked it as I had a bottle last year that wasn't very good.

Ate at Grunauer last month and had a glass of Hirter Morchl and really liked it. Any of the beer connoisseurs here a fan of it?

Love DT, great this time of year.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Had Goose Island Marisol last weekend at Torta Frontera.  Didn't know at the time it was a Rick Bayless collaboration.  It was excellent.

Have you seen the Rick Bayless TV show? Some weird vibes going on with his daughter(?).

Only saw one special thing where he went to Cancun and cooked all over with the locals or something on PBS and then saw him on top chef a couple times.  So, no.  He seems kind of different though.

Hey guys. Every beer except "old style" worth drinking.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

Old Style is pretty good sometimes.  I like almost every beer except most IPAs and Imperial whatevers.

Drinking this, as I type.

Tastes fantastic. Kind of "vegetabley". But not bad.

New Belguim's Belgo may be one of the best beers I've ever had, if not the best. It's a Belgian IPA. If anyone knows another one like it, please let me know.

The Boulevard smokehouse series Collaboration #2 (if you can still find it) is also a Belgian IPA. They may have made it a seasonal though, so not sure if their is any left in town.   :dunno:

Also, the Green Flash "Le Freak" is another that we have at Nespor's:

Quote
Beer Advocate: This Belgian Style IPA is an "out of the box" convergence of beer styles where American Imperial IPA meets Belgian Trippel.
From what I've heard, it's a very  different take on the style, but a Belgian IPA nonetheless.

Collab #2 is a combo IPA/Witbier, not IPA/Trippel.
