I went to Founders in Grand Rapids this weekend. it's one of the best breweries ever or something. It's OK.

beer people, please recommend a bitterish lager that tastes good.  don't care where it is made.  should be cheap, or at least not more expensive than other beer and available in mhk liquor stores.

i don't really know beer words, but the beer i'm thinking of makes me think i'd like to call it "crisp".  seems like maybe it has more bubbles than some beers, but i dunno.

tia, btw.

St. Pauli Girl seems to fit what you are looking for.

Didn't like it much. Sam Summer is the best by far. Anchor Summer is pretty good.

Been drinking Supper Club. Pretty damn good.

Just drank a Yeungling it was fantastic.

Tried a whole bunch of different beers while I was in Ashville in honor of Saul the Beer Geek.   Most of them sucked.

Pilsner Urquell.  Enough said.

But....you have to have it in the Czech Republic/Europe.  Doesn't taste the same in the states.  When even Czech people say it's the best beer (including private breweries) i believe them.

Interesting....CR is ahead by alot.

i'm a big fan of might arrow.  it's a unique take on pale ale.  interesting that new belgium went this route with their first entrance in the pale ale world given the fact that a brewery with "belgium" in their name could have gone so far the other way.

fwiw, Stone brewery made its way into Missouri last week.  this is good beer.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
