Love child no 5... How long do you have to pretend to like sours before it becomes real?

some people will never like it.  not a good thing or a bad thing, just a thing.  i would say that LC#5 is pretty complex and I didn't like it right away.  the 1st sour i liked was a nicely done berliner, then a fruited berliner & now pretty much all sours are good to me so long as they are nicely done.

First sour I ever had was La Folie about four years ago at New Belgium's brewery. Been in love ever since.

Love child 5 is pretty good.  Not as good as Prarie Funky Gold Amarillo, but good.

I've got a bottle of 5 in the cellar. I'm going to see how a little age treats it. I thought 4 got better as it aged. I did love Funky Gold Amarillo. I'm not sure I can find it anywhere any longer.

Haven't really hopped on the love child bandwagon yet. I always buy a few bottles, but they don't do a whole lot for me.

Saison-Bret though. Wow. is this the best beer in the world? Yes.

Made a tour of the Yard Brewing taps at a couple of places in Philadelphia. Their Philly Pale Ale was tasty.

Also had my first Harpoon IPA on the trip home.  Damn smooth ipa.

Mandrin orange and pepper corn.  Not bad.  It's not as good as their triple, but still pretty good.  Also, bought the last Love Child 5 at the store.  I didn't realize it was such a limited release.
