The hoppy tallgrass ale stuff is too over the top for my taste. The boulevard seemed full bodied without being obnoxious

Quote from: KCFDcat on December 31, 2014, 05:58:12 PM@ 8mp going to be in Chicago in March. Need good beer spots. Any suggestos?Beer bars or brew pubs? Revolution Brewing has their own place up in Logan Square. Piece Brewing and Pizzeria is good in Wicker Park, Half Acre Brewing is in Lincoln Square, but I haven't been... Supposed to be good. There is a bar in West Loop that serves all the 3 Floyd's beers. Any number of bars that serve tons of craft beers, just depends what part of town you are in

It's an interesting dividing line, there are people who are anti-trademark and people who TM everything. I'm in the middle, I don't want some company to come in and take my names and use them, so I TM'd everything. however, I won't go after everyone who uses a font or a name similar to mine. that's just exhausting. To trademark the initials IPA is absurd IMO.
Guys Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA is my all time favorite beer. It's got everything I love. A little citrus, not too heavy, but plenty of hops. Whenever i venture from really cheap beer (mostly high life) this is what I get. What a treat.
dang lagunitas ipa is pretty good tho
