Brown Shugga, Tank 7, And Odell IPA/Isolation mostly. Also a Hopslam (old and very mediocre) and a Mich Ultra.

I'm starting a cellar this month - always been meaning to do that.

Starting off w/ 2014 versions of Saison-Brett, Love Child #4, Bourbon Barrel Quad, Imperial Stout. Also going to age a 2014 La Folie and a Crown Town ale.

Kinda worried about the Saison and Crown Town, not sure how well they will sit.

Is this like a collection thing or are they supposed to improve with age?  Haven't really heard of a beer cellar so this is new to me

the brett character of the SB will increase. I don't think the Crown Town is a beer that is supposed to be cellared.

I probably would not cellar the crown town or saison.  I had a 2013 brett that I forgot about (lol right?) until like February of this year. When I loosened the cage it was like an alcs party in my kitchen.

Yeah that's what i'm thinking as well. Crown Town would just be cool to have sitting around in 5 years to say "remember when?"

Did it get hot/warm at all? Anything about 75 degrees might be somewhat detrimental over time to it. I think if kept at a low enough temp (55-60) it wouldn't explode like that.

No my basement stays about 55-60 most of the year. Probably just a one off issue. I'd be interested to know how the sb is after a year or two.

Some beers aren't meant to be cellar'd. Tank 7 for example would not be a great beer to cellar. Saison Brett on the other hand... Abby Ales always good, Imperial stouts, sours. I have at least 75-100 bottles in my basement from various years/breweries. Everytime I open one I try to replace it with two different ones.
