Crushed some 8-bit with Dlew in Chicago last night. It was the Taste of Lincoln festival, but it tasted more like home.

After a 5 hour ordeal, got my first batch of beer feat. a 3rd year effort growing my own hops.  Had to think on my feet at a few points to keep it from getting pitched but the final product had a good specific gravity so i'm optimistic it won't be a total failure!  Will post updates.

I think their recent bottlings of it are better than they used to be. At least I enjoy it more. Their berlinerweisse is also fantastic.

Grabbed a sixer of Rolling Rock Amber. I'm always looking for something different. Meh. Won't repeat. Tastes like Dos Equis.

from last night, this has to be the best run of 3 beers in a row i've ever had.  Avery Samael's Wicked Weed Black Angel, Dogfish Burton Baton.  but oh man, the struggle this morning is real.

Crabtree is the brewery. Maggie is the beer.

a.  you are open for trading
or
b.  you are kicking me in the dick like always

i'm an optimist so i'll go with option a

How much did it cost your bud to ship that much brewage?  Seems like a real hassle.  Are those only available in Maryland or what is going on here?

Ya, why are you shipping beers?  I mean is that really necessary?

all the beers he shipped to me are not available in Texas.  As in they are not allowed to distribute here (except for DFH but World Wide Stout seldom is seen).

I shipped him beers that are not available for distribution in Maryland.

Are there no comparable beers in the south?  Is that really necessary?
