I use to work with a guy that did this. His reason was his wife made him do it. His wife confirmed this as well, making the comment "You would walk into the bathroom and it would look like he was trying to shoot down a fly with a hearty stream of urine. Even the decorative soaps would be floating in the dish after he was done."

Okay, not trying to pick a fight here, but I work like most of you. The last thing on my mind at work, and definitely the least of my concerns, is my boss's posture when he pees. Don't we all have more important reasons to like or not like our work?
And no matter where I am I generally don't watch coworkers pee.

listen, i wasnt the one who brought it up. it was brought to my attention and inquiring minds can be tricky. if he wants to sit and pee by all means go nuts but in my 32 years on the planet i had never heard of this.

on the hotel thing we had to pay for our own a few months because of budget cuts and would split a room to save money. he is also a friend as well as my boss so it isnt a big deal to me i guess.

nope, our budget for 16 has been finalized so no more of that but i have thought about moving on a few times.
