By actually beating us instead of us giving you the game.

A better question would be 'has the loss to NDSU lost it's sting yet'?  :frown:

Marshall hurt more than NDSU to me. I mean, we won the Big 12 that year and we lost to rough ridin' Marshall.  :frown:

Marshall didn't hurt as bad because I could put that loss on Schwinn and move on. Couldn't do that with Waters.

The fact that Schwinn was our backup, a walk-on from cloud rough ridin' county, during our good times, is still rough ridin' dumbfounding to me.  :curse:

Our backup QB this year is a walk on from Cheney. Some things never change.

True, but at least we have other options. Run the hell out of it with Delton, give Ertz a shot, etc.

only losses that prevented something great (national title, conference championship, etc) sting long term. auburn and ndsu don't fit that criteria.
