As an "old dude" who happened to be the state's best pole vaulter and top 5 in the nation in my age group when the "Wheaties box series" cam out, I insisted that my mom buy me this box of cereal...

Suffice it to say that they weren't nearly as tasty as frosted lucky charms...

It's pretty wild that Jenner:

1) achieved international fame among an older generation for his athletic prowess
2) completely unrelated to #1, became famous to a new generation as a bit player in reality tv shows rooted in amateur porn
3) is about to become most famous yet as the face of transgender people, in part to the prior fame in #1 & 2

She's probably gonna be the 1st person to walk on Mars or something in 10 years.

It realy is an amazing career arc. Not to mention the tangential connection to all the OJ drama.
