It's believed if Leslie chooses Kentucky, then Jones will pick Washington.

He took his unofficial visit to KU with Peters, was at Peters' announcement today, and texted Shay right afterwards.  KU will be very tough to beat.

ben, i like you.  i mostly like the way you post.  but, let's be honest you're not great at deciphering the difference between genuinely positive ku news, and smoke being blown up your ass.  i mean we're like 2 days away from when you were running around excited about jones coming in for a last-minute visit.

be happy with peters, he looks like a really good player.

You are absolutely clueless.  At this point I'm wondering if you are even talking about the same Julius Randle.  Check out his profile on Rivals... KU is the only school even listed.
His rivals profile

Hey all,

I just exchanged a few text messages with 2013 prospect Julius Randle, the 6-foot-8, 235-pound forward from Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, Texas. For those that don’t know, Randle is best friends with KU’s newest commitment, Zach Peters.

At any rate, Randle and Peters were in Lawrence for a visit when Kansas played Nebraska, and at the time, both had a long chat with head coach Bill Self. It should come as no surprise that Randle was at the press conference today and couldn’t be any happier for his best friend.

Considered to be one of the top players in the 2013 class, Randle is likely to have a ton of options to consider when that time comes. However, Kansas will be very tough to beat when all is said and done.

I will have much more in the coming days, but as it stands right now, Kansas is sitting pretty with Randle.

it's a message board post that sounds like a lot of blowing smoke homerism that sys was talking about.  :dunno:

Jones likes KU, but it sounds like his mom wants him to stay closer to home.  Washington is the likely choice.  Oh well.

Don't worry about it, you guys got that 16 year old, pole smoker, wannabe frat dude, that looks like the sailor from Scooby Doo for your '12 class. I read he wants to be closer to a "gay mecca", so unless the Dons come calling, I think he'll remain yours.   :eye:

I thought this doucher crawled back under his rock when his team pre-came all over the place?

Its awesome though, that the guy who celebrates recruiting victories while diminishing the importance of an Elite Eight run is calling others Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!), really.
Koppe is a giant idiot bad person for sure but he's nowhere close to as big of an idiot bad person as others. To my knowledge Koppe has never bought an adult trike or talked to a dog whisperer.

If it was a 6'9 240 lb. black guy who could shoot from the perimeter (and was considered a top 25 prospect by most recruiting services) you guys wouldn't be saying stuff like this.  Racist.

You have to admit the guy was likely offered to keep the  :opcat: element that prevails in the ku blue hair fanbase appeased.

By the way, KU's 2012 recruiting class has a very good chance of being #1 overall.  Do some research on Perry Ellis and Shabazz Muhammed and get back with me.

So basically what you're telling me is that the only reason a 6'9 240 sophomore who can shoot from three and was considered the #1 overall prospect in his class as an 8th grader has an offer anywhere is because he's white?

Holy sh*t, you people are beyond delusional.

agree with bmw, peters is good.  looks significantly better than ellis to me.  better right now, and more upside.
