Because there was no mystery about those agreements, the only mystery agreement was the deal with Prince.    Snyder's LLC was listed by name in his employment contract . . . payments to Krause, Wesier and Snyder's LLC were listed in K-State athletic department financial disclosures.   The only issue at hand was the use of an emprise account to make those payments and the timing of those payments to the individual LLC's which is solely a respective LLC vs IRS issue.

Second plan, Beasley buys a mansion in manhattan, all basketball players can live there.  The garage will be filled with new cars from Briggs.  Beasley pretends he gets rent.

He just needs to make sure his name his not on any deeds/titles of said property so when a future athlete wrex it, it is n the athlete's name.

is it against ncaa rules for fathers of recruits and eventual scholarship holders at a school to have an agreement with an athletic department employee at the same school to profit thousands of dollars by selling university tickets on the black market?

Who knows??  That was an issue between the respective LLC's and the Feds . . . or better stated, the accounting firm that did the study said there MAY be an issue with the IRS for the respective LLC's depending on how the LLC's treated the payments on their books.    What people forget is that the study also found that K-State still owed Snyder and/or his LLC a lot of money.    The Bull$hit about all of what happened is that Weiser's "letter of understanding" about Weefer's role in athletics and his new employment contract weren't being made public and nobody bothered to file a FOIA request, because everybody likely assumed it was just a regular old employment contract . . . and thus the "letter of understanding", Weiser consulting his own f_cking athletic department, and buyout pieces never saw the light of day until after the fact.   Also nobody bothered to go get K-State's IRS disclosure for non profits . . . I forget what form it is, but if they had, they would have seen the payments to Krause and Weiser's LLC's right there in black and white.

Isn't KU the victim (along with donors) in this scandal? From a general standpoint, I'm trying to grasp why KU would be punished for the actions of a rogue employee(s)?

 :surprised:

goEMAW chat for this?

Live streaming usually sucks at work for me, so I'm gonna need something.  Also will be doing a pre-trial conference by phone simultaneously.

The new logic on ku boards is that "no one" cares about this except K-State and MU fans.

To be fair, you try to find a law firm in the region that doesn't have a ton of KU law grads on their payroll that would be willing to skew judgement for a few season(stolen) tickets.

Yeah, I won't be able to get the video to come up either.  Someone needs to do chat play by play for this.

Hopefully they will begin the press conference by stating that they are here to address KSU and MU fans on the happenings at ku.
