until there's a quote by someone that says "...and we gave that money to [insert ku player]" the whole story, while wildly entertaining, probably won't amount to much of anything.  Maybe Sweet Lew somehow gets canned, but I doubt it. I do hope we get a them-crackers-be-shakin' moment though.

Even if it did, it wouldn't be a big deal.  (see doyel's OU column)

The bigger question here is . . . who at ku will get fired??   The womens soccer coach or the softball coach??  . . . and . . . how many scholarships will womens swimming lose??

"The AD has taken a hard look at itself, left no stone unturned and leveled a stiff self imposed penalty.  As of today, we will be postponing the building of the Gridiron Club.  We hope this satisfies the FBI, IRS and NCAA and they conclude, as we have, that no further penalty is needed."

With the new NCAA it won't be a big deal . . . the NCAA simply doesn't care about this kind of $hit anymore, look at USC, they've been hmming and hawing over that one for close to 3 years now.   The NCAA has gone from proactive enforcement to reactive and limp enforcement.   The last great witch hunt the NCAA conducted was against Alabama Football, and when some Alabama booster lawyers took the NCAA to court, the NCAA turned tail and ran away from all of this stuff.   Now there has to not only be a smoking gun, but bodies lying all over the floor before the NCAA even answers the phone.

That's why I keep saying that we need to ratchet up our cheating exponentially.

It's all Kevin Keitzman's fault.

Really . . . really . . . the IRS and the FBI are investigating the ku athletic department, now its revealed that hundred of thousands of dollars were exchanging hands, a known corrupt basketball company is involved that has had significant contact with ku administrators and coaches over the years, a former ku player/booster/father of a current ku player is involved . . . LOL, gotta love Tardville.

Time to crank up the cheating.  What can I do to help?

Obviously we need to steel some of our own tickets(we being the AD) and sell them to fund DC Assault or the Tropics orgs.

We've got a K-State alum as the Interim President of the NCAA . . . time to cheat our asses off, and you'd think he'd toss a bone and send in the dogs on ku right on the heels of the IRS and the FBI, but he won't.

I personally think we need to be in full on "blindside mode" sending the Vanier and Merrill types into the projects across the country to adopt and funnel . . . adopt and funnel . . .

I think the first step is to absolutely start the Wildcat Invitational back up.  Work out some deal where, for that one weekend, KSU subleases all its basketball courts to the City of Manhattan for $1.  Just rename it "The Little Apple Jam"

Adopt and Funnel Inc. would be proud to sponsor such an event.

main points from the phog so far...

keitzman and his desire to bring ku down are part of the problem.
freeman is a punk and a liar/snitch.
everything happened on bohls watch.
ku and their donors are the only victims here. why would they be punished?
if this kind of thing is happening at ku then just think about what is going on everywhere else.

Second plan, Beasley buys a mansion in manhattan, all basketball players can live there.  The garage will be filled with new cars from Briggs.  Beasley pretends he gets rent.

KU was able to funnel hundreds of thousands of dollars through their scheme, think we can get to a thousand?

Love the ku and its donors are the victim angle . . . that's a new one.

Plus, what do they expect from Keitzman, all 610 does is suck ku's ass, Brady McCullough is probably getting his story on this reviewed by Lew and ku SID right now . . . somebody has got to run with it.

If Kietzman chooses to make this his story of the year, be sure to ask him why he didn't give K-State's mystery agreements between Snyder, Krause, and Wefald and financial scandals from May 2009 the same treatment.

ku is releasing the results of its internal investigation of the ticket skimming scandal.  Insiders say ku will argue that when you mix whole milk with 2% lowfat milk, it blows up in your face and leaves the ticket accounting system in shreds.
