I'm not sure about the quality of the info in the gpc threads, but this gif is fantastic.
Fitz, Reply --------------------------------------------------------------------------------you hit the nail squarely when discussing the basketball situation. As a coach of 35 years, I am never in favor of hanging the coach because he is dealing with a lot more than the average fan realizes. oscar certainly had that this past season. You were right on target when talking about him having to be creative next year in fitting his offense to his incoming talent. I never felt last year`s group was much of a fit for the motion offense. Most of today`s basketball players are products of the AAU circuit and this is more of a run and gun thing. Our guys were not self disciplined enough to run the offense we had. This is just one opinion and I am sure others will disagree, but in the final analysis only the coach can make this decision. Anyway keep your ear to the ground and provide this kind of information. Sure hope next year is better.
I've heard from my Illinois Wolves (aau grassroots) connections that he is leaving, but oscar and Currie are playing hardball on the release.

Is that Fitz saying he has been a coach for 35 yrs?

i respect brett. hes a good guy and hes good at his job. seems to have his hands tied on a lot of this stuff.
Watching Brett slowly turn into a basketball version of DJamer Wally is kind of sad. It's only a matter of time before he starts getting the "awesome story, thanks for the info" DScott kid-glove posts for every story he writes.
Did rob cassidy used to work for gopo? Its been so long I forgot.
