I'm not sure about the quality of the info in the gpc threads, but this gif is fantastic.

Brett has resigned himself to the fact that 1) Malek is gonzo 2) He does not currently, nor will he in the future have any inside info.

If only there were a free website out there that Brett could visit and use to pass his "informed opinion" on to the unwashed GPC masses.

I've heard from my Illinois Wolves (aau grassroots) connections that he is leaving, but oscar and Currie are playing hardball on the release.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

you hit the nail squarely when discussing the basketball situation.  As a coach of 35 years, I am never in favor of hanging the coach because he is dealing with a lot more than the average fan realizes.  oscar certainly had that this past season.
You were right on target when talking about him having to be creative next year in fitting his offense to his incoming talent.  I never felt last year`s group was much of a fit for the motion offense.  Most of today`s basketball players are products of the AAU circuit and this is more of a run and gun thing.  Our guys were not self disciplined enough to run the offense we had.  This is just one opinion and I am sure others will disagree, but in the final analysis only the coach can make this decision.  Anyway keep your ear to the ground and provide this kind of information.  Sure hope next year is better.

Everybody should have a heyday, John Currie is a pencil-dicked fascist who is only principled about transfers when it is convenient for him.

Yeah, it might be luked. Tough to keep up with these awesome zingers these days, but it's some "coach" reaching out to fitz saying he's completely right this isn't all on the coach.

i respect brett. hes a good guy and hes good at his job. seems to have his hands tied on a lot of this stuff.

If by good at his job, you mean terrible at his job.  And if by hands tied, you mean he has no legitimate sources and is completely naive about the little information he does have access to, then I agree 100% with your assessment.

Watching Brett slowly turn into a basketball version of DJamer Wally is kind of sad.  It's only a matter of time before he starts getting the "awesome story, thanks for the info" DScott kid-glove posts for every story he writes.

This is why most businesses don't rely on interns to do actual jobs.

So either oscar is trying to re-recruit Malek or Currie is just being his stupid self. Currie should get more crap.
