He's 35-13 in Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final 4 gms.

Roy is 22-12. Pitino is 22-10. Calipari is 19-8. Calhoun is 15-8. Izzo is 18-11.

Coach K coached in his first title game in 1986....Holy crap.  he's reached the title game in four consecutive decades.   They played in four of five championship games from 90-94.

Whether you like Duke or not, you have to have immense respect for Coach K and the way he runs their program.

He and the Blue Devils will put it on the Badgers Monday.

I know Ku fans were hoping for their 2nd SuperBowl win by Wisc in 48 hours, but sorry. UK not 40-0 but Duke is champs again

i know he gets a lot of credit, but i don't know if it's enough credit. this was the 2nd time he beat Wisc this season.
his substitutions last night, his set plays coming back from dead balls, his defense- all on point last night.  their switching on defense had wisconsin's offense stalled, they were confused in the 2nd half.
coach k doesn't have many peers in the coaching profession and i think he's really only hitting his stride in the past couple of years.  although it helps to have guys like okafor and parker on your team, he's the one that brought them to durham.

It appears to me that K's involvement in USA basketball has completely revitalized his recruiting.  He went from just some old man college coach to the guy that Kobe wanted for Lakers and is buds with LeBron, Dwade, Melo etc.  Having Capel back on staff to do a lot of the heavy lifting in recruiting is huge too.

If he can continue bringing in elite 1 and done bigs to add to his typical ability to get 4 stars kids that don't have family pressures to leave he might have a run like he did in the 90s.
