No NIT invite, obvs. Got an offer from the tourney below that, but we would've had to pay $30K. AD decided better off to shut it down as accepting that invitation would "cause more harm than good."

next coach should have a contract clause that says if we suck enough to have to go to a pay-to-play tournament, that it comes out of the head coaches pay.

What is less exciting than a pay to play basketball tournament that is 2 rungs below the NCAAs?

The championship is a best of three to help eliminate some of that suspense everybody hates.

Thank goodness. Are there any other ways to spend $30k in order to be MORE humiliated?

If we played CBI we would have more opportunities to suspend people, I think we need to continue to work on freeing up a scholarship.
