I used to, very much. Not anymore though. He was pretty much a badass and would love a player just like him on every Cats team ever.

everybody who was anybody hated laettner and duke and hurley. i can't even fathom someone outside of a duke grad liking them back when they played. today, i can admit they were total studs etc. but back then? man.

Exactly. I didn't like him when I was a kid but Laettner was of this mold as well.

This pretty much sums it up right here. Laettner was basically a male model who also happened to be really rough ridin' good at playing basketball. I hate Duke but sort of liked Laettner just because of how good he was.

Now Bobby Hurley on the other hand....that guy had a stupid, punchable looking face which is kinda weird since I'm a nice non-violent guy. But don't get me started on wanting to punch his face!
