Multiple Weddings, One Day
« on: March 14, 2015, 05:50:30 PM »
Have you ever been invited to multiple weddings for the same date? This has happened to me twice. The first time I was able to easily decide, based upon the closeness of the relationships between myself and the couples. This time is not so easy. I'm thinking about picking the one I receive the invitation from first. I like planners. Thoughts?

If this was a fanning thread I'd consider it a brag. Carry on tho. No such suspicions here.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Go to the earlier wedding and then go to the second ones reception. Or, go to the lamer wedding and more fun reception. Doubled up twice before like this. Each time one was in Topeka/Lawrence and the other in kc so did far away wedding close reception.

What a great plan.

no offense, but i can't think of a dumber reason. i mean what are the food and drink options? where are the weddings and receptions? we need way more information here.

Roidhead what did you do?

I have 2 weddings to go to in October and I rsvp'd for both without really paying attention. Same day, same time. One is where I live, the other is about 2 hours away.

Both are very close friends.

Maybe poison one of them?

Break up one of the weddings by claiming you heard their soon to be spouse was snagged in the Ashley Madison hack.  This should work, unless they actually met on Ashley Madison.

Probably couldn't make that work for the male friend, but the guy that the female friend is marrying seems kinda like that. Might have wings, brock landers

I once missed a family wedding because a former student asked me to be his best man. Couldn't pass that up.

If they are on a football Saturday go to the one that doesn't conflict with the KSU Cats game.

go to ceremony of boring one, reception of fun one. explain to fun couple why you cant make their ceremony.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Do people really notice or care about who was at their wedding ceremony?
