STILL on the front page of espn.com.  They're probably gonna give Nathan and the 'Cats their own 30 for 30.

What if I told you that a bad K-State team kicked KU's ass again, and oscar Weber celebrated by nuzzling Bill Self's ear while students murdered innocent KU players on the court.

This very minor but public act of battery would negatively impact most peoples' job prospects.  However, Samuel Powers here will always be able to find a job in the Wildcat Way Cult.

I do think this might affect Trayor's job prospects?  Was there a chance he'd make an NBA team or play International ball?  I'm really not sure if he was but he won't now.  You have a 5'9" white kid  (not being :opcat:) who can't be more than a buck seventy blocking him out with little or no effort.  Why can't our players do this?  Am I the only one looking at this angle?  I honestly feel bad for Traylor's basketball future now but also for most of our players who can't do what this kid did and rebound worth a crap.  Shame really.  I guess on the bright side we won't have to worry about Traylor attacking/raping an innocent female (or male) on any campus for the rest of his career.  Well, anyone who can give a little chicken wing action to the guy if it happens to them I suppose.. :th_twocents:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

If every Tom, Dick & Harry with a ku t-shirt Bill Self hadn't thrown a hissy fit, the media wouldn't frankly give a single eff.
I think this is a more accurate statement. Honestly, someone should help Coach Self understand the difference between a chicken wing and a body check. ("Chicken winging" is a much more entertaining verb though.)

Pfft, Self knew what he was doing.  How many KU fans are talking about in-game mistakes or leveling the usual insults at the players responsible for the loss?  He redirected all that anger to the post-game crowd rush.

Shrug it off all you want, I just know I would be disappointed and embarrassed if my degree-granting institution was all over the news for this shameful display.

the sun will come up spracs. you will feel joy again. hang in there.

Bro, I'm good.  If you recall, I was expecting to lose on Monday.  What I did not expect is for the post-game narrative to be about the behavior of K-State fans and how it is symptomatic of a bigger problem that needs to be addressed.  If I were upset--and I'm not--I would take comfort in the fact that no one is talking about the game itself but rather the behavior of KSU fans afterwards.  Here we are two days later, and ESPN has a story on the front page about K-State's contrition.  It's like WOW, you've just pulled off the most improbable upset, and you can't even enjoy it because everyone is frowning towards you and giving you stern looks while solemnly shaking their heads from side to side.

there is no problem and nothing needs to be addressed.  the college game is 125 years old, can you name one time in the past 125 years when court storming has resulted in an injury to a player?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
