By virtue of the schools going to the Elite 8, and the NCAA Men's Basketball Revenue Formula, K-State and BU were the conferences two biggest revenue producers in basketball.

Need to start beating out TTech, Baylor and OSU for all of the top second tier texas recruits.  Do that with Snyder and  Gary Patterson and we can compete.

 

Yep this is exactly how DoD one started.  Only this time around there is only 2 teams that will be very good(OU, UT).  In DoD on we had to get through NU, CU and to alesser extent OU.  If we can surpass OSU, TT, we can place our selves as the number 3 school in the conference.  Then as years go by as others falter we will get our changes to the top again. 

DoD Redux is about to commence.

We had a really good staff at the beginning of DOD.  They were really good at recruiting and coaching.  Our current staff is not good.  They are not good at recruiting.  DODeuce will not happen with this staff.

True and Snyds was like a half-million years younger then too.  Even if a second miracle were to occur and the DoD II was to commence he'd drop dead before it really got off the ground and we'd get Ron Prince II to crush our dreams just like we did last time.
