I must respectfully disagree.  Kazzu isn't sitting around waiting for a phone call from the Big Ten which may or may never come.  Kazzu is free to pick up the phone no matter who may call.  Mizzurrah has to sit there and wait for the Big Ten to hem and haw.

That's BS.  We can pick up the phone and call whoever the shazbot! we want but it doesn't help us any.  MU could very well get that offer from the Big 10.  We won't.  Mizzou is also a much more attractive program to any conference out east that is looking for a spot to fill (ie Big East).  We are behind them in everything but possibly a Mtn West invite.

Think about it this way.  You're Mizzou.  Your conference has just crumbled around you.  KU/K-State KNOW that the worst case scenario is the MWC.  Iowa State KNOWS that the worst case scenario is the MAC.  Baylor KNOWS that the worst case scenario is the Sun Belt (which is almost worth not even having an AD anymore).  Mizzou's worst case scenario?  Sitting around too long waiting for the Big Ten and ending up with Iowa State in the MAC.  

Mizzou is more fracked than we are in the sense that Mizzou has farther to fall than we do.

My statement wasn't that theyre going to though.  A major conference will pick up Mizzou.  Super conferences are starting to form and Mizzou is attractive regionally and market wise to about 3 major conferences.  They aren't waiting on the Big 10.  My guess is, theyre trying to get some other conference on the phone so they can leak it and make the Big 10 jealous just to get the invite out there.

DeLoss Dodds is not our friend.  When he was here, his son was STUCO president, and was found to have used student funds illegally to promote construction of Bramlage Coliseum when the majority of students polled wanted to upgrade Ahearn.  People at the time that the father-son duo worked together to promote Bramlage.  TIA.
