So I'm sittin in MHK mindin my own business, havin some lunch, when in walks John Currie.  Thought nothing of it, other than he is flying to Dallas......Well I noticed him walk to the baggage claim area (those of you who are not familiar with MHK, its at the end of the airport where people are not before the flights.)  I went over there trying to be discrete acting like I was on my phone to see if I could hear him at all.  Well, I didn't hear much, but he did repeat himself 3 times saying, "We can't announce that yet."  "We don't want that out there yet"  Something to that affect 3 times.  I will let all of you guess what he doesn't want all of us to know yet.  

My guess is that we are joining the MWC.  Too obvious I know.

@ChipBrownOB: Sources say the new Pac 16 super conference will push for two BCS bids because the B12 will be losing theirs.

This will definitely kick SEC and Big 10 into the "need more teams" mode. 

No way they sit back and let the PAC16 get two auto bids.  No way.

Big 10 will have to keep pace by adding teams. By offering "leftover" former Big 12 north teams, the Big 10 can basically get a discount on the pay out to those new members for several years.

Or get the same Big 12 / Big East teams they have been mentioned with this entire time

Just hope Currie hasn't signed anything if the super conf thing comes to reality.  Would be real shitty if we just signed with the MWC and then get an invite to join the SEC west to help bring SEC to 16.

No.  Probably just signed a deal to play a two-game neutral court series in MBB with the first game in Wichita.  Gotta keep that stuff secret, you know.  

Also, we can't join the MWC until GPC runs with this for a headline...
