Well, this does appease T Boone and all of his Dallas oil buddies and helps us take one more step forward to reforming the Southwest Conference that Texas loved so much. eff, let's just add SMU and Rice and call er a day.

1. TCU was likely going to be in the discussion in expansion anyway.

2. Recruiting Texas, how many times does it need to be said, when you can tell Texas recruits they'll be back in Texas at least 8 times during their playing time at K-State, that's HUGE.

3. Keeps 4 Texas Big 12 schools on the streets of Texas for recruits, which helps thwart SEC influence, yet TCU is not as strong as A&M on the trail which can help Northern Big 12 Schools.

4. Easy road trip for K-State fans.
