It'd be akin to saying that Frank's players are responsible for oscar's failures this year.

1) this has actually been done!
2) Brad's second year, oscar's 3rd

Doesn't matter, same amount of players from previous coach.

Mr. A: Oh man my neighbor just threw out his TV because over the last few weeks it has been over-heating and simply turning itself off!

Mr. B: You are the type of person who is not good enough for a nice TV, so you should settle and snag that overheating one Mr A.  Afterall you can't be getting above your station, which is clearly lower than the person who threw this out.  His garbage is your treasure.

Mr. A: Great!  Let me put this in my house and plug it in!  My neighbor is a fool, the picture looks great!  Oh, there's a few dead pixels here and there, but you have to be really close to notice it!

Mr. B: That's great for you!

* two weeks later *

Mr. A: I am sad, this TV keeps turning itself off!  I have no idea why and this makes me upset!  Oh well, I guess I can live with this, I don't really need to watch TV that much, and the picture isn't terrible is it?  It might be getting a little dimmer every day, hard to tell, but I can just lower my lights.  Yeah this ole TV isn't so bad.

new ending:

Mr. A: Well the TV caught on fire and burned my house down........oh well.

There probably aren't may people or even products in the world that are delivering on expectations like oscar.  Extend him.

He's undefeated in the Southland Conference after 1 and 2/3 years. Wasn't he the third fastest coach to get 50 wins in division 1, doing so after 56 games? I don't care what school you're at or what conference you're in, that's pretty impressive.

He inherited a team that went 27-5 the year before he go there and is doing it with the previous coach's players. What he's doing is impressive, but he had a lot of help.

That is a lazy assumption, and for the most part it's wrong.

We went through this in another thread, but his top 3 minute users are from the previous coach. But he's still getting a lot of contribution from his recruits.

Well, there are only two players left from the previous coach, so...

who was their coach in 2012-13?

I guess I overlooked him since he's not exactly a prolific scorer.

Brad defiantly gets credit for the development of Thomas Walkup and Jacob Parker. They are nothing close to the players that were left behind. Not giving Brad credit for Walkup and Parker falls in that bullshit player inherited logic. Brad has also done a great job of building up the roster behind them. He is killing the recruiting trail in respect to to the southland conference / SFA.

Yes he inherited a good team but appears to still be taking the roster forward.

I was just posting things I have noticed from SFA. :dunno: I am really against the "previous coach's players" talking point. There are too many other factors to consider, to take away credit from a coach.

previous coach's players are hands down the number 1 factor to consider when evaluating the success of a coach's first season. It obviously diminishes in importance over time.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I love that he uses EMAW instead of K-State in the quote.

He is subtetly begging for the KSU job. Time for Currie to bring him home.

Wonder what Brad's staff would look like. I know he is close to Steve Forbes and would probably swagger jack him for WSU. Erik Pastrana would follow him from SFA, Stong with florida AAU like E1T! and KC AAU. Not sure who else he could bring. I hope he would put a lot of money him a big time AHC.

If we wait another two years he could bring Frank in as his lead assistant or DOBO.

I worry about Brad's defense. Think he is a stellar offensive mind, think Frank held Brad back at K-State. Frank would be an awesome AHC for Brad. He is the best defensive coach out of all three Brad, Huggs and himself.

This whole concept is in a thread on here somewhere from like a year or two ago.
