In the midst of such losing, its difficult to find words for describing what we just saw.

there is now a culture of losing in this program. it's expected that we'll lose. we get up 69-67, and no one, probably including the players, thought they were going to win.

I think I gave up on this team about 2 games ago, but this loss really just confirms it. This season is over. I hope we don't play in the NIT or any post season tournament to save ourselves the embarrassment. I'm sick of watching oscar., I'm sick of watching incompetent basketball players play incompetent basketball, and I'm sick of basketball season. I'm ready for the Royals.

I was in a plane from Phoenix to Charlotte. Didn't even remember we had a game tonight until opening this thread. Fan's stats and 4 other posts really tell me everything I needed to know.

Holding on to hope of a Sams return is where my energy is going.

it was lol worthy all game, then all of a sudden we inexplicably had a lead with 2 min left, and proceeded to piss down our legs, again

if we had just coasted to a 10 point loss i would have cared much less. but it was the taking the lead and inevitability of giving up the lead that pissed me off

This game was WAY too much like a Wooly loss for it to sit well with anyone in this fanbase (except you apparently). Finally play well on offense, defense inexplicably falls apart, and then making multiple unforgivable mistakes down the stretch to give away a game that the other team is desperately trying to hand you. This is actually a loss that I could see knocking some folks off the oscar bandwagon.

it does feel so much like Wooly. i think this team has an occasional higher ceiling than wooly, but there is absolutely no hope for any kind of significant success. we need a new coach.

The problem with the oscar bandwagon is that half of them probably didn't even know we played tonight. Absolutely nobody on my regular twitter account was tweeting about the game except for like DScott and some other K-State related accounts. A majority of them are just wishy washy fans.

It felt a lot like Wooly to me. Hovering between 5-10 down all game only to find some way to blow it at the end. Never really thinking that it was going to turn out the Cats' way. Especially with Foster and Harris out, this team is pretty Woolyesque.
