I secretly want to go to this but don't know anyone in real life and not sure what my wife would think about me driving from kc by myself to hang out with people from the World Wide Web I've never met.
Quite the pickle. (I'd assume you are not alone. I'd also like to add that I bbs'd on gE for a couple of years before having met anyone. I then met about 5-6 guys in Austin, and I'd vouch for any of them.)

Don't do it, I find its way harder to make fun of people on the internet after I've met them  :frown:

Think about how nervous you get when you have to make small talk with weirdos at work or in new social settings.  Then realize you already have a ton in common and know a lot about everyone on here already.  Also this charity benefits KSU and is legit so just come already.

It really is the weirdest most normal thing that you can do. You think it is going to be weird and then it isn't because you actually already know the people really well and then I'll buy you a beer or a drink of your choice and you'll hear some pretty great stories and have fun with some buds that you really didn't even really know that you were really buds with but you actually have been for years. I can't overstate how normal people actually are.

Can you guys post the pics of the shirt and print them out and take it to fattyfest? I probably should check the mail tonight. I'm sure it's there. Right now Kslim leads the bidding at $70.
lol I'm not buying that ridiculous shirt fanning. Seriously?
Do you know how auctions work? You can't take back your bid, friend.
do you? You and puni had that deal all set up plus you'll already have the shirt. I will spend plenty more than 70 today anyways so it doesn't really matter. That shirt was made for you, all I said was I would have bid it up.

Is Katdaddy going? Because my original auction item fell through, and my backup is pretty hellhammery/bloodfarty.

Who won? What was the final question?

The answer to this is steeped in controversy.

Is herrera actually on the kstate website? That is the controversy...obviously he played for the cats...but if his official height is not listed on the kstate sports website.....
