Tom, do you have corn that is dented already or was that picture taken a little while after it was plucked?

I suspect that was in the truck for a while before the picture.

I accidentally blasted a bullsnake because it was pretending to be a rattler.

I was mowing at the cat ranch and saw a big ole snake, I turned off the mower and the snake made a rattling sound and went into the S formation so I blasted it since it was right by the house.

After I blasted it I realized it didn't have a rattle and felt bad because it was a beautiful bullsnake.

1- how did a non-rattlenake make a rattling sound?
2- what did you blast it with?

seems sketchy to me too. I bet ben ji planted a rattle next to it after blasting.

1. I had to Google it after I shot it and found it had no rattle, I was completely convinced it was a rattlesnake.

2. Shotgun

I 100% would not have blasted it had I known it was a bullsnake but when I walk by something 50 yards away from the house that makes a rattling sound I'm not going to get too close to try and see exactly what kind of tail it has.

Good thing you didn't get close enough to get bitten.  They are not poisonous, but they have sharp teeth and can bite hard enough to draw blood.  You'll know if it bit you because it will hurt.  Also, if bitten, be sure to clean the wound, as it may have bacteria and/or infectious diseases.

I know from getting bitten around a half dozen times growing up on a ranch in western Kansas.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

Anyone ever get a square bale with a snake in it?  Honestly, my only snake encounter in all the years of farm life and scout camp.

It was dead, but sticking out of the bale coming out the back of the baler.

Pretty common occurrence when I was cutting hay with my grandpa back in the 80s.
