The other factor here Ben Ji would be the low grain production that is dependent on the crap weather we have been having. Right now the wheat crop is rated really poor as there was not much tillering and fields are really thin. Factor in the head scab that the wheat has there won’t be a lot to fill any ground bunkers and or elevators.
Corn nation wide was only planted to about 48% I believe, so that will also effect supply. Beans and Milo will replace so there is some optimism there. Generally it sucks to be in the Ag crop biz right now but it will cycle out soon enough.
One question I have is, I get the aesthetic value the bins have for the place but would it be possible to sell them off? Maybe a better option as augers and watersealing are not cheap and if dryers need work that would be very cost prohibitive.
