I like that the Constitution is hard to change, but maybe a little less hard would be good. Also getting rid of (or providing more clarity to) the 2nd would be great

His argument seems to be that the reason the constitution is not that great is because its old. He never really points out what he'd change.

I think he brings up good points about the over-representation of certain populations. I don't think the point was that there is something he wants to change, but that it is near impossible to change

They outlawed booze once with an amendment, nothing good can really come from changing it.

they also banned slavery. :dunno:

I also think that it was designed for a different time. What would a constitution look like if we designed it today? I think we'd change a lot.

Which is to say, if it's easy to change you don't have one

Is this where people say, "I believe the constitution is a living and breathing document". Because that's the dumbest rough ridin' thing I've ever heard.

Why didn't you pay your loan? Because I think my promissory note is living and breathing, and it doesn't think I need to make payments for a while.

England isn't a country. The United Kingdom is part of part of the EU, so they don't govern themselves in part.  The U.K. also uses some dorky collection of docs based off the Magna Carta that they call the constitution.

you'd have been better off going with a military dictatorship. No constitution and happy government. It's what you're really after anyways.
