I have a strict "no music" rule during workouts/runs/exercise.
what kind of freak are you!?
 :sdeek:

Feels unpure.  I don't judge others for using music, I just choose not to.

When I need to be extra motivated at the gym, I listen to pop punk, mostly Fall Out Boy. Then on days when I max out, I call it a "Fall Max Out Boy Day."

I thought this was going to be a fun place for us to all gather and gab  :frown:

Me too, Yoga. This was v. disappointing. But while we're here, I workout to the Glee soundtracks.

Sandstorm for sprints.  It's like an injection of adrenaline directly into your heart.

You perform better to music.  Lift more, run harder, etc.

Its science.

I like to listen to podcasts. This American Life is pretty great for long runs.

Rammstein or Twilight soundtrack.

Seems like a fairly major dichotomy right there (although I haven't actually seen Twilight, nor heard the soundtrack)

That may or may not be true.  Music just feels like "doping" to me.  Like I don't judge you for using these musical steroids or whatever, just not for me.
