We should leave the two parties with nothing but their crazies and take everyone else to create a third party.
That's a nice sentiment but what would it mean in reality? What's the "moderate" position on taxes? Spending? Immigration? Abortion? Energy production? Etc.
One could argue that "moderate" is exactly what we're getting now with the current GOP leadership in Congress, and it's just a continuation of the $pend $pend $pend status quo. I don't consider that moderate - I consider it a disaster.
And what do you mean by "crazy"? I believe a good half of all Democrats are closet socialists/fascists - they would have no place in my party. There's a much smaller fringe on the right i'd exclude - basically the militia nuts and the people who actually believe Obama is Kenyan/Muslim (he's an atheist), but that's my conservative viewpoint. Crazy is in the eye of the beholder.
