my cousin and I are going to go see STS9 at Red Rocks in September. NGAF about K-State football might be the best thing that has ever happened to me.

OAR at Red Rocks last year, I tailgated and had the Kats v. Texas Tech game on WatchESPN.. was a pretty dreamy set up, don't remember much of the actual concert

Should be a great Friday in KC. Get off work around 3:30-4pm, go hit up all the galleries with free beer at First Fridays, get some food from some elite food truck, then head down to Trombone at 8pm.

You guys. Last Friday I saw My Morning Jacket underneath the night sky and a colorfully-lit Superdome. It was seriously magical. My God. First time seeing them and they were all that and a bag of chips.

Last weekend I took my daughter to see 'R5.' They are apparently the new heartthrobs or something. But you know what???? They were fun!

Shooter, how was it? I'm planning on going to the St. Louis show.

Was ridiculously good.

A mix of how good of a show he put on (jammed for almost 2.5 hours, so he covered every song you'd want to hear), and how awesome the venue is. If you've never been to the Mishawaka Amphitheater in Bellvue, CO, everyone should put it on their bucket list. It's in the foothills at the base of the Rocky Mountains, on the Poudre River. The pics don't do it justice.

Bingham was fantastic last night in STL. One of the better shows i've been to.

Is R5 for the soon-to-be-hipster girls? Like 1D is too big and mainstream so R5 is the underground alternative? (I've never heard of them, but I don't have a daughter)

R5's lead singer is an actor in a Disney channel show/movies. The rest of the band is his siblings.

It was a strangely diverse crowd between kids like my daughter (she is 6) and teen girls.
