driving south on 35w. light rain. overbuilt, utilitarian texas highway system handling traffic well thus far. love the scenic nature of this drive with the historical access roads and gas stations on either side of the highway.

had lunch and several drinks at the esquire, awesome place. sheraton Gunter a very nice little historical hotel right off riverwalk. about to go bar hop until game time.
