Heard someone say, "they have exceeded my wildest expectations for this year."
I responded, "your wildest expectations did not include an NIT invite?"
Him: "I see them as an NIT team. I love Budke."
Me: (thinking....Ef it, I don't have the time nor the inclination to discuss this further)

When was the last time you were entertained at AFH? Minus, '06? I mean, eff oscar, but what did you think would happen tonight? Some of you are acting like this is the breaking point, just because he teased you for a bit. Also sys l, I've been more right on games than you have.

I wasn't entertained tonight anymore than I would losing by double digits at Tech. That was a cripple fight and there may have been only two big 12 teams who would have lost that game to KU on that night with them looking like that.

coach self (one of the best) was very complimentary of the cats last night and acknowledged several times during post game interviews that we were without deathbite

it's funny how a coach his caliber can recognize the quality of job that oscar has done with our team, yet the goRetards here continue to bash him

Yeah, I'm not saying that, but I guess that would be you're usual response on here. Foul trouble, phog calls, no stokes, etc. every time we made a run, some dumb crap foul would be called. Weber is in charge of the roster, but he can't help that he brought in two bigs that have the plaque and can't play. Honestly, I never planned on being remotely this entertained tonight. He kept it more interesting than Frank there and has beaten them more than Frank. I think we take them at home.

what does their dental health have to do with playing basketball?

KU isn't that good, K-State wasn't playing all that great and built a 10 point lead, and just like their coach they completely withered under a little pressure from a KU team that's one of the least capable of actually making anyone clinch up out of any KU team I've seen in years, I mean, like decades.   They're not the least bit intimidating or physically imposing and Oscar and his guys folded.

Has Self, or any basketball coach for that matter, EVER said anything derogatory about their opponent's coaching or team? It's a tight fraternity. If they never say anything negative, then you can dismiss their faux praise as meaningless coach-speak.

this year, at least, the apparent trend is magnified (when wins/losses are binned in categories) by the dichotomous schedule.  kstate has played a lot of good teams and a lot of bad teams and very few teams that are more or less at their same level.  that will change a little in the next few weeks as kstate finally gets a trio of kenpom b games.
