Before suspension gate in conference defense was solid. Non con defense was water trash. If we played solid defense in noncon we wouldn't be in this position.
Guess you could make the argument we're awful at both offense and defense.
16-10 is better than 13-14. You also have to adjust defensive efficiency for offensive deflation. Offense blows in college basketball this year. I believe our defensive conference efficiency ranks 8th .
btw, the non-tucks can defend foster all they want (and i think he may be the best shooter in kstate history, so he's worth defending), but there's something wrong with a person that doesn't want to play defense.

Julia asks: “wtf is water trash?”Very good question, Julia. The term “water trash” is usually used to describe a person. That person is someone whose manner of dress and personal hygiene leave something to be desired. Water trash is always used in the pejorative sense and it can be used as a noun or an adjective. The term is perfectly suited to describe the character, Karl Hevacheck. He wears nothing but tank tops, dirty orange pants that he found somewhere, velcro shoes that are two sizes two big and he drives a van with the words “rape van” spray painted on the side. The origin of the term can be traced to Concord, California.

I agree, I won't completely leave Foster off the hook here, but I still put the ultimate responsibility at oscar's feet because its his program and he should act like it.

It is disappointing that oscar get his arms around the situation.

Instead of shutting off sophomore guard Marcus Foster from media access, as he did last week, Kansas State basketball coach oscar Weber needs to make himself off limits. Some of the things coming from Weber’s mouth these days make a man’s jaw drop, such as after Wednesday night’s embarrassing loss at TCU when Weber complained about not having enough players who work hard and play hard.“I just want guys that care,” Weber said to a group of reporters. “That is all I want, guys that care and want to play for K-State and want to play to win and will play hard.”Apparently Weber didn’t get the memo: No Whining Allowed.

Take ownership oscar, because ultimately its still your problem because this is your team. Your excuses only tick me off, and I'm one of your most patient fans. Otherwise just stop talking to the media because your act is getting old.this x a million. as a drove to work today, i was more mad at him blaming the team that he recruited for not wanting to play at k-state, than i was at our loss.we need to keep a running tab on his excuses, our past two loses-2/11/15 @ WVU it was the officials2/18/15 @ TCU the players don't want to play at k-statei can't remember exactly when he threw nino under the bus

It’s unusual for coaches to say the kinds of things Weber has been saying about his team lately, especially for public consumption. It makes you wonder what the team would say about Weber.
