Yes. The team has been in the top 10 or 15 all season but no one cares. In October people were fixated on the Royals and now it's as if everyone has already turned the page to basketball season.

People truly cared about 2014 K-State Wildcats Football for about a month in 2014. Sad, really.

Well townie there was some great moments but nothing unexpected really happened. I love the cats and had a great time at pak's and games but this was a very meh year

Agreed. The best moments of this season were a blocked PAT and a missed FG at Oklahoma. They happened the weekend between the ALCS and WS so people quit caring about 24 hours afterwards.

Also, as lib^7 points out, a substantial number of fans (especially those on this site) don't care for the QB. They would rather obsess over his abnormally hairy arms or his home state than the fact that he is really good at getting the ball to our best player.
