I kind of doubt it.  Ted Cruz is going to lose it.

Embargo is about to succeed. Just needs another 50 years.

I'm not an expert on Cuba, so I'll defer to Marco Rubio (R) and Bob Menendez (D) who both agree it is a terrible idea to put more money into the pockets of a ruthless dictator, and they oughta know.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Yes, let's defer to politicians. They are the experts, after all.

Evidently, you are not too familiar with Rubio and Menendez's personal ties to the Cuban dictatorship.

I think Rubio's ties to the Cuban dictatorship are about as close as many Kansans' ties to the Nazis are.

I have no doubt that some Kansans' relatives fled the Nazi regime, and if the Nazi regime still existed and our president wanted to open trade with the Nazis, I'd listen to them too.

Quote

The real story of his parents’ migration appears to be a more conventional immigrant narrative, a couple who came to the United States seeking a better life. In the year they arrived in Florida, the future Marxist dictator was in Mexico plotting a quixotic return to Cuba.

If we keep the embargo going for another 50 years we'll really show Cuba what's up.  Just like Vietnam, China, Russia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
