sdk's interst in MMA surprises me
I don't follow ufc or particularly care for the fans. But I did enjoy watching my brother train, step into the 'gon, and dominate. I'm also probably the tallest guy with little man syndrome.

Being tall is a disadvantage in the combat arts.

I'm 5'11. I'm not tall. Just not short. Wingspan is 6'3. I think that will help.

If we're going to do this, I need to know that you are all in.  One does not simply waltz into the life of an MMA fighter.

Combative Sports Center, SDK. A guy I wrestled with in college trains for human cockfighting there. That semi-pro that went by Caveman trained out of there too. It's supposed to be pretty good. I don't know personally, though. The place I trained out of in Topeka closed, or else I'd tell you to go there.

I can't watch MMA/UFC. (Is there a difference?)

Too likely to see someone die.

You should definitely do this.  Not just train, but actually square off with some dude in the 'gon.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

I think anyone that profits off of it is worse than people that enjoy it.

One is the "sport", the other is the promoter.

You're also more likely to see someone die boxing than you are competing in MMA.

I skipped the after party for this reason alone. told my brother I loved him, but I couldn't do all that with more alcohol.

Just opened it and read the first paragraph. Because fights end in a certain manner they are assuming?

8 of 10 fights I saw last week ended in tap outs. The other two ended because the ref stopped the fight to prevent injury.

It is pretty brutal to watch at times I agree. The last fight ended 30 seconds in when a kick snapped a guys ankle.
