"Convenience charge" on concert tickets when you pick them up yourself. What's the convenience, that I had to drive to a ticketmaster outlet instead of printing them off at home?

Or the pizza "delivery charge" that doesn't go to the driver.  Just charge me $3 more for the pizza, like a man!

"Convenience charge" when I print the tickets at home, using my own paper and ink, and not causing them to have to deal with me in person at all.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

This makes sense, though.   If you are paying for convenience,  how do you get more convenient than that?   As far as it costing them more to do that, it's as win-win for them as it gets.

Quote
A certified check or certified cheque is a form of check for which the bank verifies that sufficient funds exist in the account to cover the check, and so certifies, at the time the check is written. Those funds are then set aside in the bank's internal account until the check is cashed or returned by the payee.

This makes sense, but it is ridiculous. For my 3 tickets to Tuesday's Royals game, I paid a $12.75 convenience fee plus a $3.50 order processing fee (including delivery) on tickets I printed at home.

Have you guys ever heard of Reiki? It's a scam, right?

I know a guy who does this...he's also a Jedi.  :dunno:

My friend's wife does this. It is totally insane. I think a few people actually pay her to do it, too. I urge anyone unfamiliar to google it and watch a video of a session.

The fact that anyone in the year 2015 thinks this might be productive blows my mind.
