Meh. I've made my points. I understand some people prefer the jock jams route, and that's fine, but I do think the band adds to a college atmosphere.

I'm not a big band guy, but bands are good for college football and a nice part of the atmosphere.

Who are the other two bands? What makes ours good?
Ohio State is one, and I think Michigan is the other.  These bands have big time budgets, and mostly comprised of music majors.  Most of our members are volunteers and pay to be in the band.
5 hearts in the band too???

Bands are good for the old people that like Earth, Wind & Fire and British invasion montages.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

:nono: that sounds really unappealing to all involved

Stormnut why do band people, namely Dr. Tracz, think it is more important for the band to have good seats than to be heard and enjoyed by all fans at the game? Isn't it embarrassing to have the visiting bands heard more clearly than our band?

FWIW with your seats I can't envision a scenario where you'd hear the KSU band louder than a visiting band

I like bands. I do not like our band director. Mostly because he won't play SWP.

Dr. Tracz or whatever his name is, thinks he is a much bigger deal than he is. The band thinks they are a much bigger deal than they are.

I know NOTHING about any of this, but it's pretty clear that the director is responsible for animosity purely because he is a dick.

And LOFL at a rough ridin' BAND DIRECTOR who acts like a dick. Good god. Get some perspective, dude.

I was jealous of Oregon's band when they played Gangnam Style because it was something that was somewhat culturally relevant.
