Yeah, I've spent 5+ minutes perfectly wording a long post only to delete it. The funny thing about this thread is that I think we'll be able to pick out all the posters who delete a lot of posts and those who don't delete any.

That's usually when it happens to me. Particularly when I think of some argument in my head and then I look up stats to back it up only the stats don't jive with the argument, so I like "welp,

." Then I just exit out.

it has happened, but not frequently. i don't usually back out for style, but every once in a while i decide i should fact check an argument before i post.

I'm usually on my phone, so sometimes I'll be halfway through a post and then be too lazy to finish it.

Sometimes, I start and then think, "Aw eff it, no one wants to hear that." Which is kind of interesting because other times I deliberately try to post things that people have no interest in. Totally mood dependent.

i do especially in the pit. I'll rip apart someone and then be like "that's mean and I don't even really care about that issue very much, I'd rather just be buds" and delete it.
