Interesting. Wondering where he might go if he left OU?

Bill should step down immediately and Stoops should take our offensive staff.

Bill should step down immediately and Stoops should take our offensive entire staff.

I kept reading that article, seeing words like "stale" and thinking of K-State's offensive game planning.

Radio down here is full of Billy Tubbs references.  When he left OU he said multiple times that after 10-12 years every HC needs new scenery.  Lots of referencing of Bill's 1st retirement too as an example of someone needing to step away after so long, no matter how successful.

I think Florida is a good fit for him.  I think there would have to be a lot of mutual interest.

However, he could absolutely destroy and own the Big Ten.

Urban and Dantonio will always be tough there.

Not sure who would be considered "better", but you would have a lot of good coaches interested in a top 10 football program.  They are going to start a $370m renovation after this season to the stadium.

If he leaves it would be by his choice, not OU's.

My guess for an OU coaching search:
1. Former NFL guys (Cowher, Harbaugh, Gruden)
2. Dantonio (probably a long shot but you're OU)
3. One of the Mississippi school's coaches
4. Graham, Cutcliffe, Sumlin

Would scare me if they got Kirby Smart then gave him $600k to over pay Doug Meacham or Sonny Cumbie as OC.

I am sure Graham would take that job, Mullen might if Bob goes to Florida.

Meacham is a poke, I would be interesting on how both sides would look at that.

It could be argued that ou is THE best of all time, but point taken. I would like it if he left.

I always had a pipe dream of Stoops taking an NFL job, failing and coming to KSU.

Pipe dream, like I said. I was hoping that my favorite team (Cowboys) would fire Garrett and then fire Stoops 3 or so years later.

A bit off topic, but how long do you guys think Snyder sticks around? Is this his final year?

My pipe dream is the same except with Chip Kelly.

Yeah, I would rather have Chip too. Bob is more realistic since he has ties here, but since we are talking pipe dreams might as well go for broke with Chip.

My pipe dream is that Snyder lives for 50 more years, coaches 49 of them, and we win 49 straight national championships. Pipe dream like I said.
